The challenge
Our team took the lead in implementing a third-party API search form on the home page of Keck Medicine. We worked closely with the vendor "Kyruus" in completing the task on the specific deadline given from the USC leadership team. We developed a landing page with API implementation for a search query home, and also developed three buckets with contact information needed to make an appointment. Our team revamped the website’s homepage with a completely new web design interface. With the new design, we increased website traffic and boosted user stay times on the website for a longer period.
The web design solution
MJM Designz worked collaboratively with the client to receive proper regulations of how to implement the API script on HTML and WordPress pages. We mocked up a website design in Photoshop to present to the USC leadership team. Once approved, we engineered the approved web design on a staging environment so that all stakeholders could review them adequately before we began coding. Our team created a new marquee slider treatment to complement the “Call to Action” buckets on the cardinal bar of the home-page. We then developed a “Find a Provider” landing page for patients to make an appointment with a specific physician or find locations.
