The challenge
Develop a new web design homepage, header and footer with an existing theme active that functions with all secondary pages and posts for a client in San Diego, Calif. Our project focused on crafting a custom web redesign to brand the company's online presence to increase brand awareness among new and existing audiences. We optimized existing images and files for faster loading speed, fixed all broken links, developed a way to merge a custom theme into a secondary theme that is the active in the website’s backend, implemented SEO tactics on all pages and completed the website — all within a two-week deadline.
The web design solution
MJM Designz created two modern web design layout mockups for client approval before moving on to engineering and developing the new website. Our team merged a secondary theme into the primary active theme for the secondary and tertiary web pages. We then built a full-width layout to increase the visibility of the content with integrating icons with Font Awesome, along with a new header that featured a sticky header function with a drop down navigation menu. MJM Designz then custom-developed a four bucket widget footer with important content elements and links. Finally, our team optimized all the files to increase the website’s load speed and wrote metadata on all pages.
