The challenge
Working with USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, Calif., MJM Designz developed a primary brand web design identity mockup to follow throughout the entity’s multiple websites. We developed a “Call to Action” widget with Google GTM tags to report event tracking when users clicked on specific buttons. Our team then populated an educational video page feed with brief descriptions for each piece of video content. MJM Designz created brand style guidelines, so that fonts and color schemes are consistent when developing new websites.
The web design soultion
MJM Designz mocked up three distinct different web designs to present to the hospital’s leadership team for approval. Once approved, we went into the engineering stage and developed a WordPress custom template with an accordion header and custom footer. We installed an alert rail plugin for urgent, important messages to appear across all pages in case of a hospital emergency. We then customized the marquee slider to display call to actions, including learning about the hospital’s services and requesting appointments.
