The challenge
For this web development project, our team developed a custom web design for a re-election campaign for a city councilmember in the city of Upland, Calif. The project included developing a website that included call to action functionalities to capture users email addresses in a clear and transparent way that encourages newsletter and mailing list signups. We also organized the email database with appropriate tags, and produced a captivating and convincing digital marketing materials. We also worked closely with the council member of Upland, CA to help drive the council members campaign to increase voting and to market the difference in what the counsel member can perform for the community.
The web design solution
Along with web design and web development, this project required SEO optimization and graphic design. MJM Designz developed three web design mockups to present to the client before the engineering process began. After approval, we created a database, coded the parallax custom theme for a unique look, and developed Call to Action buttons throughout the website to capture emails. We tested the newly-designed website in multiple web browsers and on several mobile devices to ensure its code was responsive. We worked with the client and his team to ensure a specific look for his re-election campaign and drive traffic from targeted audiences to specific areas of the website from SEO tactics. Equipped with a modern website, the candidate won the campaign.
