The challenge
MJM Designz developed a microsite template populated from the backend dashboard. We created a creative marquee slider style with large font quotes to represent the content of the website. Our team then implemented four key “Call to Actions” that stood out from the other features of the home page. We embedded a YouTube video and blog post that features testimonials of patients or student experiences. Our team then provided training to content writers to edit content on all pages, including the home page.
The web design solution
We created three mockup designs to present to the client. We then coded a custom header that populated from the general theme settings also the footer. We focused on USC brand guidelines, including colors and fonts, to show consistency with other websites. We then used Awesome Font to create the icons that are placed on the band sitting below the marquee slider. Finally, we engineered a responsive layout for a user-friendly experience on mobile devices.
